Kirk Franklin’s Youngest Daughter Kennedy Franklin Is Engaged
There is a wedding on the way in the Franklin house. Kennedy Franklin, the youngest daughter of gospel legend Kirk Franklin and his wife Tammy, announced Sunday that she is engaged!
We don’t know much about her fiancé but that he’s affectionately known to the family as “E” or “EJ”
Kirk has never been shy about how much he loves being a girl dad, and you know he is going to be a mess when it is time to walk her down the aisle. He and Tammy have been married since 1996, so their children grew up watching what it looks like to choose each other year after year, through the hard seasons and the good ones. That kind of example does not go unnoticed.
I love seeing young people in our faith community celebrate love out loud. In a world that makes commitment look old-fashioned, a couple deciding to build a life together before God is still something worth cheering for. Congratulations to Kennedy and EJ. We are already praying for your marriage, and we cannot wait to see the wedding.
